Assignment #3: Journal Entries
For this part of the project, you will be creating a Multi-media journal presentation. Information included in the journal will be from information you have researched and gathered about your Civil War figure. You will be required to write five journal entries from various times during their life. Each entry must be at least 250 words. You will combine all five entries into a Multi-Media Journal.

When you are all finished, your journal entries are on your website, you can click here for a fun activity.
Journal Entries:
- Graphic Organizer (link found below) must be completed and submitted to Mrs. Hall before you begin writing your journal entries!!
- Five- 250-word entries
- Must represent a variety of times from that person’s life—from childhood to death. At least 2 must be from events during the Civil War.
- Journals will be written in first person.
- Journals must include historically accurate information—locations, dates, events, and other people.
- Drafts will be typed in Google Docs (1 Document for each Journal--title them "Journal 1", "Journal 2", etc.) and should be shared with Mrs. Hall when each one is complete.
- Each entry should include graphics (photos, maps, charts, etc.), text, and can include audio components when available.
Multi-Media Presentation:
- After Mrs. Hall has reviewed each journal entry will be transferred to your Weebly website.
- Each entry must contain graphics/pictures/audio/video clips.
- The font should be easy to read from the SMART Board.
